How we are funded today
StockEducation is funded by its operator, Stock Education Publishing Pty Ltd. We do not currently receive revenue from brokers, investing platforms or other financial product providers.
Our core learning material is available without payment. If our present funding model changes, this page and any affected page-level disclosures will be updated before the relationship is relied on commercially.
What we are not paid for
We do not currently accept payment from a broker or investing platform to:
- change an educational conclusion or calculation;
- guarantee a favourable rating or review;
- remove material criticism or evidence;
- place a company or product into an educational example; or
- alter the order in which evidence or options are explained.
If a company supplies access, data or a response, that contribution should be identified where it is relevant and independently checked.
If the model changes
Future revenue could include paid memberships, premium tools, advertising, sponsorships or affiliate links. A possible future model is not presented as current income.
Before a new commercial arrangement goes live, we will define where it can appear, how it is labelled, who approves it and how editorial staff can reject or criticise the associated product.
The independence wall
Commercial value cannot decide our conclusions, ratings, examples, methodology or evidence. A commercial partner does not receive approval rights over educational content.
If affiliate links are introduced, our operating rule is to confine them to clearly identified comparison tools and disclose the relationship near the top of the page. Education pages remain separate from that conversion path.
Where disclosures appear
A reader should not need to hunt for a material relationship. Page-specific disclosures belong before the first commercial link or call to action, written in plain language that identifies how StockEducation may benefit.
This site-level policy provides the complete framework. The affected page carries the immediate disclosure, and the editorial standards explain the separation between funding and judgment.
