Google Ads conversion measurement. StockEducation uses a Google Ads tag to measure advertising performance, including registration conversions. Ad-click identifiers and registration-event information can help Google connect an action on our Website with an earlier advertising interaction. Google describes conversion cookies whose names begin _gcl_ and whose default lifetime is 90 days.
Advertising and remarketing cookies. Depending on your cookie choices and Google settings, Google advertising technologies can also support personalized ads and remarketing, which means reaching people who previously visited a website. Google describes cookies such as IDE for ad personalisation. This description of Google’s technology does not establish that StockEducation currently runs a remarketing campaign.
Your choices. Use the cookie consent settings to manage Website cookies, including the Marketing category. You can also manage Google ad personalisation and ads on Google partner sites, or block and delete cookies using your browser settings. Changing personalized-ad settings does not by itself disable conversion measurement. Read Google’s cookie explanation for its cookie purposes and lifetimes.
You can manage your cookie preferences or disable cookies entirely through your browser settings, though this may affect certain features on our Website.
Regional cookie information. Read the cookie policy for Australia, the EEA and Switzerland, or the United Kingdom. Visitors in the United States can use our US opt-out preferences page.

11. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools & Data Usage
StockEducation.com provides a range of AI-powered tools, which may include (but are not limited to) portfolio trackers, stock analyzers, calculators, and AI-assisted chat or research features (collectively, “AI Tools”).
11.1 User Inputs & Prompts
When you use our AI Tools, you may voluntarily submit information such as text prompts, portfolio data, strategy preferences, or other inputs (“AI Inputs”).
- AI Inputs are processed solely for the purpose of generating the requested output or analysis.
- We do not require you to submit personal information within AI prompts.
- You are responsible for ensuring that any information you submit does not contain sensitive personal data unless necessary.
11.2 Storage & Retention
- AI Inputs may be temporarily stored to operate, debug, secure, and improve our services.
- Where stored, AI Inputs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
- We may anonymise or aggregate AI Inputs so they can no longer be linked to an identifiable individual.
11.3 AI Service Providers & Vendors
To deliver AI functionality, we may rely on trusted third-party AI and cloud service providers. Providers currently identified on our production AI tools include OpenAI and Perplexity. The provider used varies by tool, and each relevant tool page should identify the current provider or providers.
- These providers may process AI Inputs on our behalf strictly under contractual obligations.
- We do not permit vendors to use your identifiable personal data for their own marketing purposes.
- Where possible, AI Inputs are processed in a manner that minimises personal identification.
11.4 Overseas Processing & APP 8
OpenAI and Perplexity are headquartered in the United States. Depending on the tool and provider infrastructure, AI Inputs and related service data may be processed in the United States or in other countries where those providers or their service providers operate.
- Before disclosing personal information to an overseas recipient, we take reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances to require handling that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles, subject to any applicable exception.
- We minimise the personal information sent to AI providers and instruct users not to include sensitive personal information in prompts.
- Where an overseas recipient mishandles personal information, Stock Education Publishing Pty Ltd may remain accountable under Australian privacy law.
11.5 Model Training & Improvement
- AI Inputs are not used to train public or open AI models in a way that identifies you.
- We may use anonymised, aggregated, or de-identified data to improve the performance, reliability, and safety of our AI Tools.
- No human reviews AI prompts for training purposes unless required for quality assurance, safety, or legal compliance.
11.6 Opt-Out Options
Where applicable, you may:
- Choose not to use AI-powered features
- Contact us to request restrictions on how your AI Inputs are processed
Please note that opting out of certain AI processing may limit functionality of specific tools.
11.7 Data Access, Deletion & Export
Subject to applicable law, you may request:
- Access to personal data associated with your account
- Deletion of stored AI Inputs linked to your account
- Export of your personal data in a portable format
Requests can be made by contacting support@stockeducation.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
11.8 Automated Decision-Making Disclaimer
Our AI Tools provide educational and informational outputs only. They do not constitute financial advice, automated decision-making, or legally binding recommendations. Final investment decisions remain solely your responsibility.
12. Internal Glossary Mailer and Google Account Data
StockEducation Glossary Mailer is an internal editorial notification tool. With the account owner’s authorization, it uses Google’s email-send permission (gmail.send) and basic account email identity to send a glossary completion message from an authorized team account to a designated editor. It does not request permission to read, search, modify or delete Gmail messages and does not access website visitors’ Google accounts.
For this purpose, we keep the Google authorization credentials, authorized sender and configured recipient addresses, email thread identifiers and batch status in access-restricted server configuration and records. We use those details only to verify the sender, deliver the completion message and avoid duplicate sends. The outgoing message contains completed glossary page links and a short quality-check summary. Google processes the message for delivery, and the designated recipient receives it. We do not sell Google account data, use it for advertising or provide it to the glossary content-generation model.
The account owner can revoke this access through Google Account settings. For questions or removal of our stored authorization, contact support@stockeducation.com. See the StockEducation Glossary Mailer information page for the tool’s purpose and controls.
By using StockEducation.com, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Privacy Policy.
