What counts as a correction Logged as a correctionA confirmed factual, numerical, attribution, source, disclosure or tool defect that could materially change a reader’s understanding or use of the page. Treated as a routine updateFormatting, spelling, clearer wording, repaired links, refreshed screenshots or refreshed data that does not correct a material error in the earlier version. Routine maintenance can still update a page’s visible “last reviewed” or revision history when relevant. It does not enter this ledger solely to make the number of corrections appear larger. What happens after a report We capture the affected page, date reported and details supplied. An editor checks the claim against the underlying source, calculation or tool behaviour. If confirmed, the editor defines the corrected wording or technical change and records how the issue was found. The page correction and public ledger entry are published as one change. The corrected page receives an inline note when a reader needs that context, and its modification date is updated. If a page has moved, the correction relationship follows its permanent redirect. If content was superseded, the new record retains the link to the earlier correction rather than silently breaking the audit trail. How reports are handled The report form on this page opens a prepared email addressed to support@stockeducation.com. It includes the affected page, report type, details, page location, supporting source and reporter contact information where supplied. Nothing is sent until the reporter reviews and sends the email.
