How these figures are counted

Shopper Approved displayed 4.9/5 from 24 reviews when checked on 6 October 2026. The total includes collected and imported reviews; it is not a count of verified purchases. The practice portfolio figure is read from the public leaderboard when this page loads. It counts published virtual portfolios, not people or results.

FAQ

Course Questions

Is the course really free?

Yes. Every lesson, quiz, tool and the $1M practice simulator is free, with no card and nothing to cancel. The course used to cost $99 a year. AI tools have daily allowances that vary by tool, and a paid Pro dashboard is being planned but is not available yet.

Do I need an account?

Not to start: Lesson 1 opens without one. A free account saves your progress and quiz scores, keeps your place on the learning path and unlocks the $1,000,000 practice simulator. It needs no card.

How long does the course take?

About nine weeks at 30 minutes a day if you complete all 242 course entries, at roughly 7.5 minutes each. Focus on the core lessons and quizzes and it is quicker. You set the pace, and your free account saves your place.

I already know the basics. Where should I start?

Open the learning path and jump to the module you need, or search the syllabus to see where a topic is taught first. A quick pass through Modules 1 and 2 is still worth it, because they cover the mechanics most people skip.

Do I need any math or finance background?

No. Lessons use simple words and worked examples, the calculators do the arithmetic, and any unfamiliar term links to the glossary or can be explained by the AI assistant.

FAQ

Account and Trust Questions

Will the course tell me what to invest in?

No. StockEducation is not a financial adviser and gives no stock tips, personal advice or promised returns. The course teaches you how to evaluate investments yourself, so you can make your own decisions.

What is the difference between the course and the AI tools?

The course is one learning path you follow in order. The AI tools, such as the AI Investing Tutor, answer your own questions and help you research real companies. They support your learning and never pick stocks for you.

Is this suitable outside the US?

Yes. The ideas apply in any market. The examples and the practice simulator use US stocks, and tax rules differ by country, so check your local rules before you act.

Is StockEducation legit?

Yes. StockEducation was founded in Sydney in 2024 and is run by a publicly named team. Felix La Spina writes the lessons, Associate Professor Charles Lo, CPA, PhD reviews them, and corrections are logged in public. It currently takes no money from brokers or advertisers.

What will I know after the course?

How markets and orders work, how to build a diversified portfolio, how to read financial statements and ratios, how to value a company, how charts and investor psychology affect decisions, and how the economy and tax shape returns. It gives you a complete foundation, but no course can guarantee investment results.
